Domaine William Fèvre
Domaine William Fèvre, founded in the late 1950s by William Fèvre, a fervent defender of the historic terroirs and appellations of Chablis, was bought by the Henriot family group in 1998. Domaine William Fèvre continues to develop with a constant concern for producing wines of indisputable authenticity and quality, and above all, an unwavering determination to remain faithful to the terroir. All these efforts are carried out with a single goal in mind: to best express the most subtle variations of the best Chablis climates.

The Domaine William Fèvre vineyard is first and foremost an exceptional heritage that today covers 48 hectares, more than half of which are Premiers crus (12 hectares) and Grands crus (15.2 hectares) of Chablis. Domaine William Fèvre boasts the widest range of Grands Crus and enjoys ideal conditions for producing excellent wines, on a soil combining marl and Kimmeridgian clay limestone. The care lavished on the vines at Domaine William Fèvre and the know-how brought to the winery transcend Chardonnay, which here delivers an expression of great purity, between freshness and minerality.

This pretty Saint-Bris perfectly expresses the grape variety from which it is made (100% Sauvignon) and the limestone soil of the appellation's plateaux. Intense and fresh on the nose, it is marked by notes of blackcurrant buds. The palate is fresh and silky, expressing itself with spontaneity. A wine of exquisite lightness!

"I see the optimistic exhalations I established a year ago, the 2018 Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre offers aromas of lemon oil, fresh bread, crisp green apple, white flowers, wet stones and oyster water. Medium- to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, it's stretchy and dynamic, with tart notes, fine core depth and a long, sapid finish." (Wine Advocate 2020)

"The 2014 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros Côte Bouguerots has an almost surgical bouquet: extremely well-defined and balanced, rather of a subtle style with aromas of green apple, Conference pear and sea spray/oyster shells. For the moment, the whole is tightly wrapped. The palate is very well balanced with crisp, harmonious acidity and just the right amount of salinity, long and tender on the finish. It was impressive in vat, it's just as impressive in bottle. " (Wine Advocate 2016 - Robert Parker) Delivery in wooden case for orders of 6 bottles of this wine

"Les Clos 2011 is in stark contrast to the 2012. The intensity of the attack is replaced by a mineral and herbaceous complexity that appears on the nose and palate, remarkable for its finesse and purity. Harmonious ripeness of white peach and citrus, iodine and alkaline flavors." (Wine Advocate 2013 - Robert Parker). This grand cru offers a remarkably complex bouquet, combining fruity, floral and spicy notes, with great minerality.
