"Les Clos 2011 contrasts with the 2012. The intensity of the attack is replaced by a mineral and herbaceous complexity that appears on the nose and palate, remarkable for its finesse and purity. Harmonious maturity of white peach and citrus fruits, with iodine and alkaline flavors. " (Wine Advocate 2013 - Robert Parker). This grand cru offers a bouquet of remarkable complexity, combining fruity, floral and spicy notes with great minerality.

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rating (2014 guide) 18.5/20 (Wine of exceptional quality)
Rated estate (2021 guide) 5 stars (Exceptional producers, representing the absolute pinnacle of quality in France and worldwide)
About wine:
A great bottle, both rich and mineral, this is the vintage that everyone agrees on, without question. Surprisingly, it is already full of fruit and sap.
About the estate:
In post since the estate was bought by Bouchard Père et Fils of Beaune nearly a quarter of a century ago, Didier Séguier has significantly improved the quality of the wines since then. While the vineyards are undoubtedly the finest in the entire Chablis region, both in terms of premier cru and grand cru wines, it is the meticulous and rigorous work carried out in the vineyard and in the cellar that allows the quintessential minerality of Chablis' Kimmeridgian limestone to be extracted. These wines can generally be enjoyed young, but also age impeccably.
Guide des Vins Gault & Millau
Wine rating (2012 guide) 18/20 (Outstanding)
About wine:
A beautiful Chablisian and mineral moment with a complex nose, fruity, floral, aniseed, iodine, chalky, spicy, and dried fruit on the finish. Full-bodied, powerful, and complete on the palate, with citrus and watermelon notes. The finish is enlivened by a beautiful refreshing tension.

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (2014 guide) 16,5/20 (Very good wine)
Rated estate (2023 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About wine:
Les Clos reveals a well-balanced wine, richer but without any softness.
About the estate:
Owned by the Henriot group, this estate is the largest owner of Chablis grands crus, with more than fifteen hectares. Its vast vineyard and range of great terroirs are enhanced by meticulous organization: soil cultivation, manual harvesting at the optimal time, and yield regulation. Passionate about his vines, Didier Seguier, who has been at the helm of the estate since 1998, produces pure, well-defined and clean Chablis wines, using organic methods (certification pending) and even biodynamic methods for the premier and grand cru wines. With the exception of Petit Chablis, vinification and aging are skillfully divided for each cuvée between barrels (never new) and stainless steel vats. Refusing to impose any signature style, the wines seduce with their respect for the terroir and expression of minerality, which have been better preserved since the estate gradually switched its entire range to Diam's corks between 2005 and 2010. The conversion to organic farming is underway.
