Notes: Robert Parker 94/100, Gault Millau 19/20 (Coup de Coeur), Bettane & Desseauve 18.5/20, RVF 16.5/20, Guide Hachette 1*(Very successful wine)
"An unpretentious version that plays on delicacy. But don't be fooled: although the attack is fresh, crisp, floral, and impulsive, the mid-palate expands with power and depth, revealing spices, peony, and hints of cedar. The finish finds its balance with a touch of warmth that brings sensuality to this mineral wine. ( Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2011 - Gault Millau)

Rated estate (2023 guide) 4 stars (Producers of very high quality, those who are the pride of French vineyards)

About the estate:

From Cazetiers to Bouzeron, this large Beaune-based wine merchant founded in 1731 owns more than 142 plots covering 130 hectares of vineyards, including 73 hectares of premier and grand cru vineyards. This first-rate wine-growing heritage enables Frédéric Weber, a talented winemaker who was previously in charge of Château de Poncié, to produce around 600,000 bottles out of the total three million units produced here each year, with most of the production coming from purchased grapes for the great reds and carefully selected musts for the whites other than those from the estate. Impressive success in both white and red wines in recent vintages.
