Rated estate (2025 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

The ideal place for those who want to discover the best Languedoc wines that remain faithful to their terroir. Jérôme Joseph and Laurent Calmel are wine merchants without a cellar. They age selected vintages at the wineries where they purchase them, respecting the flavors and terroirs of origin. A wide range of delicious wines, including many successful vintages and a few amazing surprises.

About wine:

An intriguing autumnal nose with plenty of tobacco leaf on the palate. Slightly smoky, the fruit is subtle, as if it had been steeped and gently poached in tea. Red plums, wild currants, rosemary. Sweet, earthy spices. A subtle, restrained, and harmonious wine that echoes the earth’s character; it seems to hold back rather than rush at you. It would be magnificent with duck.

Review and opinion by Mr. PATRICE K. Published on 12/02/2025

I'm sick and tired of these so-called "natural" wines that are full of artificial flavors. Or maybe "1j1v" needs to tell us that we have to wait for this kind of wine... I gave it 1 star, but it deserves 0 stars.

A wine that is very acidic (too much so), fruity, fresh, and minty
