Somewhere between a light red, a white wine, and a rosé, let yourself be charmed by the Tandem cuvée. A unique blend resulting from the co-fermentation of red Grenache and white Grenache, creating a sparkling and highly expressive wine. Its clear, pale ruby color gives way to a very expressive and open nose, with tangy notes of strawberry and raspberry, along with a hint of floral and spice. On the palate, it is dense and structured, yet full of finesse and balance with lovely acidity. A little fruit bomb, with a touch of grenadine and a hint of pepper. A juicy wine with subtle, elegant tannins, perfect for delightful aperitifs.

About the estate:
This family-run estate, now in its third generation, produces a wide range of full-bodied wines on some 70 hectares, in a modern and ambitious style that ranks them among the must-try wines of the Ventoux region. Currently managed by Frédéric and Alexandre Chaudière, the vineyard features nine grape varieties grown on clay-limestone gravel slopes at an elevation of 300 meters. The wines are crafted with care.

About the estate:
Acquired in 1970 by Odette and René Bastide, this vast 100-hectare estate, known for its consistent quality, has been managed since 2003 by the third generation (Frédéric and Alexandre Chaudière). The entire vineyard is certified organic and is in the process of converting to biodynamic farming.

About the wine:
The Ventoux Tandem 2023 is the result of an unconventional co-fermentation of Grenache Noir and a small proportion of Grenache Blanc, sourced from cooler vineyards on limestone soils. It opens with aromas of wild strawberries, red currants, crushed herbs, and subtle floral notes. Medium-bodied and taut, it is built around a core of vibrant red fruit, with fine, powdery tannins and lively acidity that lend the wine energy and elegance. Focused more on finesse than power, this is a precise, subtly original wine that will drink well upon release and for the next 5 to 10 years.

About the estate:
The history of this estate began in the 1970s, when the Chaudière grandparents restored the château and part of the vineyard. Paul and Edith then set the course by leaving the cooperative and focusing on terroir selection. Since 2000, their sons, Frédéric and Alexandre, have been steering the future of this vast vineyard. We are captivated by the stylistic shift in the wines: they have truly gained in finesse and flavor, and beautifully reflect the freshness of the terroir.

A unique blend of red and white Grenache, the 2023 Ventoux Tandem features a medium, translucent ruby color, with an intriguing nose of ripe red cherries, white flowers, and subtle mineral notes. Composed of 70% Grenache and 30% Grenache Blanc, aged in concrete tanks, it is medium-bodied, with a pure, complex, and elegant palate, excellent overall balance, and exceptional length.
