“The Ventoux Quintessence Blanc 2023 is a blend of 80% Roussanne and 20% Clairette, grown on limestone-rich soils at an altitude of 300 meters and aged in a combination of 600-liter barrels and concrete egg-shaped tanks, without malolactic fermentation. Aromas of ripe pear, lemon, white flowers, and subtle exotic spices give way to a medium-bodied, complex palate with a dense yet taut texture, featuring a core of stone fruit and citrus supported by lively acidity and a subtly saline finish. “This is a finely balanced Rhône white wine that combines generosity and tension, and should age gracefully over the next 5 to 7 years.” (Wine Advocate 2025)

About the estate:

The history of this estate began in the 1970s, when the Chaudière grandparents restored the château and part of the vineyard.
