“Integrity sets the tone for this red, dominated by a Grenache with expressive fruit. Still encased in its sap-filled tannic shell, it draws its tension from a menthol-like freshness on the finish. This more agile finish elevates the wine as a whole.” (La Revue du Vin de France – June 2020) Late-harvested grapes that bring fruitiness and concentration.

About the estate:
The estate’s origins, spanning six generations, date back to 1864. The property boasts a 25-hectare vineyard spread across diverse terroirs. At the helm since 1989, Pierre and Marie-Claude Fontaneil have been producing wines with strong character—both dry and naturally sweet—for nearly 30 years. In 2017, they sold the estate to a young couple of winemakers, Élodie and Matthieu Collet.

About the wine:
Righteousness sets the tone for this red wine, dominated by a Grenache with an expressive fruit profile. Still encased in its sap-filled tannic shell, it draws its tension from a menthol-like freshness on the finish. This more agile quality elevates the wine as a whole.
