“The nose offers hints of citrus and flowers, while the palate is accompanied by buttery aromas; roundness and warmth come together to form a harmonious whole. The fruity note on the nose is mirrored on the palate. A grand cru that truly lives up to its name. ” (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2015 - Gault Millau) - Delivered in a wooden case for orders of 6 bottles of this wine shipped within France

Wine rated 19/20 (Wine of exceptional quality)

Rated estate (2023 guide): 4*Stars (Producers of the very highest quality, the pride of French viticulture)

About the wine:

Extraordinarily well-developed fruit (mandarin), high concentration, rich and flavorful intensity, tremendous potential, intense depth, and an energetic finish.

About the estate:

From Cazetiers to Bouzeron, this major Beaune wine merchant founded in 1731 owns more than 142 plots spanning 130 hectares of vineyards, including 73 hectares of Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. This first-rate viticultural heritage enables Frédéric Weber, a talented winemaker who previously managed Château de Poncié, to produce approximately 600,000 bottles out of the total three million produced here each year; the majority of production comes from purchased grapes for the great reds and from carefully selected musts for the whites, other than those from the estate. Impressive success with both white and red wines in recent vintages.
