“The nose offers hints of citrus and flowers, while the palate is accompanied by buttery notes; roundness and warmth come together to form a harmonious whole. The fruity touch on the nose is mirrored on the palate. A grand cru that truly lives up to its name. ” (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2015 - Gault Millau) - Delivered in a wooden case for orders of 6 bottles of this wine shipped within France

Wine rated 19/20 (Exceptional quality wine)

Rated estate (2023 guide) 4*Stars (Producers of the very highest quality, the pride of French viticulture)

About the wine:

An extraordinarily well-developed fruit (mandarin), with great concentration, rich and flavorful intensity, tremendous potential, intense depth, and a lively finish.

About the estate:

From Cazetiers to Bouzeron, this major Beaune-based wine merchant, founded in 1731, owns more than 142 plots spanning 130 hectares of vineyards, including 73 hectares of Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. This first-rate wine-growing heritage allows Frédéric Weber, a talented winemaker previously in charge of Château de Poncié, to produce approximately 600,000 bottles out of the total three million units produced here each year, with the majority of production coming from purchased grapes for the grand reds and from carefully selected musts for the whites other than those from the estate. Impressive success with both whites and reds in recent vintages.
