"The nose reveals citrus fruits and flowers, while the palate is accompanied by buttery aromas, with roundness and warmth coming together to form a complete whole. The fruity notes on the nose are identical on the palate. A great wine that truly lives up to its name. Wine rated 19/20 (Wine of exceptional quality)

Rated estate (2023 guide) 4 stars (Producers of very high quality, those who are the pride of French vineyards)

About wine:

Extraordinarily developed fruit (mandarin), high concentration, rich and flavorful intensity, very high potential, intense depth, energetic persistence.

About the estate:

From Cazetiers to Bouzeron, this large Beaune-based wine merchant founded in 1731 owns more than 142 plots covering 130 hectares of vineyards, including 73 hectares of premier and grand cru vineyards. This first-rate wine-growing heritage enables Frédéric Weber, a talented winemaker who was previously in charge of Château de Poncié, to produce around 600,000 bottles out of the total three million units produced here each year, with most of the production coming from purchased grapes for the great reds and carefully selected musts for the whites other than those from the estate. Impressive success in both white and red wines in recent vintages.
