"A new vintage for this gourmet Nuits-Saint-Georges—full-bodied and with unparalleled silkiness!"
The 2020 Nuits-Saint-Georges from Bouchard Père & Fils once again showcases the full finesse of the terroir where it is grown. On the nose, it opens with aromas of wild berries, cherries, and blackcurrants, with subtle notes of freshly ground pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich, with a well-balanced structure that envelops firm yet silky tannins, leading to a finish of beautiful intensity.

Rated estate (2023 guide): 4*Stars (Producers of the very highest quality, the pride of French viticulture)
About the estate:
From Cazetiers to Bouzeron, this major Beaune wine merchant founded in 1731 owns more than 142 plots spanning 130 hectares of vineyards, including 73 hectares of Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. This first-rate viticultural heritage enables Frédéric Weber, a talented winemaker who previously managed Château de Poncié, to produce approximately 600,000 bottles out of the total three million produced here each year; the majority of production comes from purchased grapes for the great reds and from carefully selected musts for the whites, other than those from the estate. Impressive success with both white and red wines in recent vintages.
