"The 2018 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru behaves very well right from the bottle, offering inviting aromas of pear, green pineapple, citrus oil, white flowers, lemon cream and fresh pastry. Medium- to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, it's muscular and structured, with racy acids and fine reserves of dry extract. This should age with class." Domaine rated (guide 2023) 4*Stars (Top-quality producers, the glories of French winegrowing)

About the domain :

From Les Cazetiers to Bouzeron, this major Beaune trading house, founded in 1731, owns over 142 parcels in 130 hectares of vineyards, including 73 hectares of Premier and Grand Cru. This first-rate winegrowing heritage enables Fréderic Weber, a talented winemaker who was previously in charge of Château de Poncié, to produce around 600,000 bottles out of the total three million produced here each year, with most of the production coming from purchased grapes for the great reds, and carefully selected musts for the non-domain whites. Impressive success in both white and red wines in recent vintages.
