“A new vintage for this gourmet Nuits-Saint-Georges—full-bodied and with unparalleled silkiness!”
The 2020 Nuits-Saint-Georges from Bouchard Père & Fils once again showcases the full finesse of the terroir where it is grown. On the nose, it opens with aromas of wild berries, cherries, and blackcurrants, with subtle notes of freshly ground pepper. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, it develops a well-balanced structure enveloped by firm yet silky tannins, leading to a finish of beautiful intensity.

Rated estate (2023 guide): 4* Stars (Producers of the very highest quality, the pride of French viticulture)
About the estate:
From Cazetiers to Bouzeron, this major Beaune wine merchant founded in 1731 owns more than 142 plots across 130 hectares of vineyards, including 73 hectares of Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. This first-rate wine-growing heritage allows Frédéric Weber, a talented winemaker previously in charge of Château de Poncié, to produce approximately 600,000 bottles out of the total three million units produced here each year, with the majority of production coming from purchased grapes for the reds and carefully selected musts for the whites other than those from the estate. Impressive success with both whites and reds in recent vintages.
