"Deep, creamy, fresh and sustained, according to Jancis Robinson, this Santenay is complex and delicious."
The wine has a pale lemon-yellow color. The nose offers a lovely citrus freshness and tangy aromas of lemon zest, grapefruit, and green apple, combined with hints of white peach and apricot, as well as subtle notes of vanilla, lightly toasted hazelnut, fresh butter, and acacia, which appear on the second nose. The palate is rich and balanced, with a juicy attack of fleshy stone fruits (white peach, apricot) and a lemony, slightly bitter finish (with notes of ripe lemon, lemon cream, and lemon zest). The mid-palate reveals toasted, vanilla, and butter notes, with a subtle hint of toasted wood. The texture on the palate is oily and pleasant, balanced by a good bitterness and refreshing acidity. Good length. (Vert de Vin 2024)

About the estate:
An old estate, with records dating back to the 18th century, now covering 24 hectares. No certified organic status here, but sustainable and controlled viticulture (total grass cover in the vineyard, no weedkillers), and wines of great consistency.
