"A refined, spicy, and persistent first growth"
The nose of this Santenay 1er Cru Beauregard, with its intense ruby-colored robe, offers an excellent combination of red fruit and subtle oak. Full-bodied and spicy, the palate is fresh and elegant, with a long finish.

About the estate:
An old estate, with records dating back to the 18th century, now covering 24 hectares. At its helm are Roger Belland, who took over in 1981, his daughter Julie, who joined in 2003 and is in charge of winemaking, and their new colleague Martin Boyer. No certified organic status here, but sustainable and controlled viticulture (total grass cover in the vineyard, no weedkillers), and wines of great consistency.
