"A fresh, vibrant vintage that’s incredibly delicious right now—or one you can let age in the cellar for a few years!"

"This Premier Cru truly reflects the estate's generous style, with aromas of cherries, blueberries, and peonies... On the palate, it is rich, velvety, silky, and perfectly fruity." (Bourgogne Aujourd'hui 2024 - 2023 Vintage Special)

About the estate:

A historic estate, first mentioned in the 18th century, now covering 24 hectares. At the helm are Roger Belland, who took over in 1981; his daughter Julie, who joined in 2003 and oversees winemaking; and their new partner, Martin Boyer. No certified organic production here, but sustainable and carefully managed viticulture (full grass cover in the vineyard, no herbicides), and wines of great consistency.

Burghound

Burghound

Wine rated (2024 guide) 90/100

Rated: Recommended

About the wine:

Here too, the expressive nose is fresh and vibrant, with pure aromas of black cherry, redcurrant, and violet. The medium-bodied flavors are more elegant and slightly denser, with the same alluring texture on the more mineral-driven finish, which is pleasantly crisp. This wine should also be enjoyed young or after 4 to 7 years of aging. 2028+
