Domaine Berthet-Bondet
Domaine Berthet-Bondet is located in Château-Chalon, in the heart of the Jura wine region. Domaine Berthet-Bondet has been run by Jean and Chantal Berthet-Bondet since 1984, and by their daughter Hélène since 2018.
Domaine Berthet-Bondet owns a 10-hectare vineyard, 5 hectares of which are in the Château-Chalon appellation and 5 in the Côtes-du-Jura appellation (4 hectares of white wine grapes, 1 hectare of red wine grapes). Half of the vines are old, while the other half were planted between 1985 and 1990. The vines at Domaine Berthet-Bondet, often on steep slopes, require a great deal of care, much of which is done entirely by hand.
