Domaine Berthet-Bondet

Domaine Berthet-Bondet is located in Château-Chalon, in the heart of the Jura wine region. Domaine Berthet-Bondet has been run by Jean and Chantal Berthet-Bondet since 1984, and by their daughter Hélène since 2018.

Domaine Berthet-Bondet has a 10-hectare vineyard, 5 of which are in the Château-Chalon appellation and 5 in the Côtes-du-Jura appellation (4 hectares of white grapes, 1 hectare of red grapes). Half of the vines are old, while the other half were planted between 1985 and 1990. The vineyards at Domaine Berthet-Bondet, which are often steeply sloped, require a great deal of care—much of which is done entirely by hand.
