Pierre Tailleur de Vins
A native of the city of Carcassonne, Pierre Caizergues, wine trotter, created his artisan wine trading workshop in September 2015. His idea: to produce wines based on his encounters and Favorites. Through discussions with his winemaker friends, he selects plots, blends and ages his own vintages to enhance the terroirs of the South of France and create handcrafted wines. Pierre Wine Merchant, seeks simplicity and authenticity through surprising and original wine ranges.
Together with his winemaker friend Julien Gil (Plô Roucarels), he created the Plô Grand Bâtard and Petit Bâtard range, a project that allows them to experiment with grape varieties that have never been blended before. Always on the lookout for new sensations, Pierre Caizergues has released a new 100% Chenin cuvée in the Haute Vallée de l'Aude PGI from the Les Affranchis range: "Grape varieties that are too often blended, now set free!
