Louis Sipp Estate
Domaine Louis Sipp began its winemaking operations at the end of World War I, thanks to its founder, Louis Sipp. Today, Domaine Louis Sipp owns approximately 40 hectares of vineyards, including 4 hectares on the Osterberg and Kirchberg Grand Cru sites in Alsace. Etienne Sipp, representing the fourth generation, has been at the helm of the family estate since 1996. With a focus on enhancing the quality, character, and finesse of the wines, he has implemented improvements both in the vineyard and in the cellars: organic viticulture and strict yield control, modernization of the grape reception system to preserve the fruit’s integrity (whole-cluster pressing), and improved traceability to enable winemaking tailored to each terroir.

Today, a team of 20 people works at Domaine Louis Sipp to craft wines that are the very expression of the Ribeauvillé vineyards—Alsace and Alsace Grand Cru wines that delight the palates of wine lovers around the world.
