Couly-Dutheil Estate
Domaine Couly-Dutheil was founded in 1921 by Baptiste Dutheil and later expanded by René Couly. Thanks to the quality of its terroirs, this family-owned estate—now in its fourth generation—enjoys an undisputed reputation in the Chinon wine region, producing high-quality AOC Chinon wines.

Of the 2,000 hectares in the Chinon wine region, Domaine Couly-Dutheil alone cultivates nearly 120 hectares, 90 of which it manages directly. The vineyard is spread across three distinct terroirs: the gravel-sand plains along the Vienne River, which yield light, fruity, easy-drinking wines; the clay-siliceous slopes and plateaus, which produce refined and subtle wines; and the clay-limestone hillsides, where sumptuous AOC Chinon wines with aging potential are born.

Domaine Couly-Dutheil also produces two signature wines from the Chinon vineyards: Clos de l'Olive and Clos de l'Echo, which delight lovers of characterful AOC Chinon wines.
