Château Pierre Bise

Château Pierre Bise is a large estate comprising nearly fifty-five hectares of vineyards, spread across the Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux du Layon, and Quarts-de-Chaume appellations. Owned by the Papin family and managed by Claude Papin, who works closely with his son René. Together, they produce wines that represent the very best of their respective appellations—rich, elegant, and well-balanced, offering excellent value for the price.

The Château Pierre Bise vineyard is cultivated according to the principles of sustainable agriculture, with grass-covered rows and green pruning; the use of pesticides and insecticides is strictly prohibited, and they prefer natural inputs such as trace elements and seaweed, among others. Harvesting is done by hand, staggered according to the appellations, and winemaking is carried out with the utmost care. Château Pierre Bise is an estate that continues to evolve in order to best satisfy even the most discerning wine enthusiasts.
