is owned by Vignobles Ducourt. An ambitious, bold wine producer, Henri Ducourt, assisted by his 3 adult children (Bernard, Marie-Christine and Philippe) revitalized the business, making Vignboles Ducourt one of the largest wine companies in the Bordeaux region (440 hectares, 12 châteaux).
Chateau d’Haurets, a magnificent 18th-century chartreuse, is Henri Ducourt’s home today. Over the years, Ducourt has always strived to bring out the expression of the terroir, implementing increasingly innovative techniques to improve quality. In the tradition of the great Bordeaux wines, all the properties, including Chateau d’Haurets have been part of a quality process since 1996. They are certified ISO 9001 version 2008, the company management standard testifying to their high level of expertise.
For the purposes of transparency, all the properties have been certified under the “Agriculture Raisonnée” (Sustained Farming) scheme since 2004, i.e. the vineyards are managed with regard for the environment and personal safety.
