Domaine de la Mordorée
is ideally located at the crossroads of Provence and Languedoc. Domaine de la Mordorée has been producing some of the finest Rhone Valley wines in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Tavel and Lirac appellations since the late 80's. Since the tragic death of Christophe Delorme, his brother, Fabrice, has been managing the 60 hectares of vineyards with a philosophy founded on respect: respect for people, respect for nature, respect for customers and respect for the crops.
Domaine de la Mordorée employs particularly strict sustainable growing methods which are environmentally-friendly and respect the terroirs. Grass cover in the rows, de-budding, leaf thinning and green harvesting are some of the practices widely used. These are followed by a harvesting, which is carried out entirely by hand, and vinification and ageing processes which are traditional yet ultra-modern. Flag bearers for their respective appellations, the wines of Domaine de la Mordorée have long been acclaimed by wine journalists and are regularly awarded medals for their quality.
