Alain Jaume - Grand Veneur
Since 1826, the JAUME family has been serving the great terroirs of the Rhône Valley, including the Crus of Lirac, Vacqueyras, and Châteauneuf du Pape. In 1979, Odile and Alain Jaume continued the family tradition with the creation of Domaine Grand Veneur. In its early days, the vineyard covered 9 hectares, but has expanded over time to reach 78 hectares of vines in the most beautiful appellations in the south of the region.

Today, Sébastien, Christophe, and Hélène ensure the prosperity of the estate. Combining family expertise with their own knowledge of winemaking and viticulture, they showcase the quality of the terroirs atDomaine Grand Veneur. The estatehas gained worldwiderecognition: "Few estates in the world are as well managed as those of the Alain Jaume family..." J. Dunnuck.

In 2003, the Le Clos de Sixte vineyard was acquired in the neighboring Lirac appellation, which is one of the fifteen crus in this region and produced a few kilometers opposite Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Its terroir is certainly one of the most beautiful in the Rhône, with plateaus very similar to those already owned by the estate. Millions of years ago, the river built the subsoil of the left and right banks by depositing sandy clay and the famous rounded pebbles.
