Domaine Plageoles

The Plageoles estate, located in the north of the Tarn department in the Gaillac appellation area, has been in operation since 1805 and consists of two farms: the Très Cantous estate, in the commune of Cahuzac sur Vère, which is family-owned, and the Roucou-Cantemerle estate, in the commune of Castelnau de Montmiral. The Domaine Plageoles vineyard now covers 20 hectares.

Domaine Plageoles produces terroir wines, made according to principles that respect the terroir and using natural cultivation techniques: no chemical fertilizers, no weedkillers, no synthetic products, no dry yeasts, no chaptalization, etc. Deliberately focused on the historic grape varieties of the Gaillac vineyard, Domaine Plageoles produces some of the best AOC Gaillac white and red wines in the appellation.
