Faiveley Estate
Domaine Faiveley is located in the heart of Burgundy’s wine-growing region, between Dijon and Beaune, in Nuits-Saint-Georges. The Faiveley family, owners of the estate, has gradually expanded its holdings and now owns plots in Burgundy’s finest climats: Gevrey-Chambertin, Pommard, Volnay, Puligny-Montrachet, Mercurey, and others. As is often the case in Burgundy, the vineyards are highly fragmented, and the average size per appellation is only about 1 hectare: production of each wine is therefore very limited.

Domaine Faiveley cultivates over 10 hectares of Grand Crus and nearly 25 hectares of Premier Crus. Among these, several climats belong exclusively to the family; these are Monopoles such as Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos des Issarts, Beaune 1er Cru Clos de l’Ecu,… and the Corton Clos des Cortons Faiveley Grand Cru. The utmost care is taken in the winemaking process, from the vineyard—cultivated with respect and rigor—to the winery and cellar, where vinification and aging are carried out with the utmost respect for tradition. Domaine Faiveley is undoubtedl ly one of the great houses of Burgundy today…
