Ferraton Père et Fils

Ferraton Père & Filsis a family-owned winery in the Rhône Valley founded in 1946 by Jean Ferraton. Its vineyards span the Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph appellations, as well as the prestigious Hermitage, Condrieu, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellations. In partnership with Maison Chapoutier since 1998, Ferraton Père & Fils was acquired by the latter, which has successfully enhanced its exceptional potential. Managed independently, it nonetheless retains its “hallmark” to give the wines produced a personal touch, continuing the legacy originally established by the Ferraton family.

Ferraton & Fils has been practicing organic viticulture since 1998 and has been ECOCERT-certified since 2001. It has extensive experience in this field and is now DEMETER-certified (since 2010), with the family vineyard managed using biodynamic methods. It benefits from the technical support and quality control services of the renowned Chapoutier estate. The wine-trading portion is produced using traditional methods.
