Ferraton Père et Fils

Ferraton Père & Filsis a family-owned winery in the Rhône Valley founded in 1946 by Jean Ferraton. Its vineyards span the Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph appellations, as well as the prestigious Hermitage, Condrieu, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellations. In partnership with Maison Chapoutier since 1998, Ferraton Père & Fils was acquired by the latter, which has successfully brought out its exceptional potential. While managed independently, it nonetheless retains its “hallmark” to give the wines a personal touch, continuing the vision originally established by the Ferraton family.

Ferraton & Fils has been practicing organic viticulture since 1998 and has been ECOCERT-certified since 2001. It has extensive experience in this field and is now DEMETER-certified (since 2010), with the family vineyard managed using biodynamic methods. It benefits from the technical support and quality control services of the renowned Chapoutier estate. The wine sold through the merchant division is produced using traditional farming methods.
