The wines offered by the estate Roger Belland, Domaine Leroy, Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils, or Domaine Faiveley perfectly reflect these characteristics.

A distinctive terroir that produces wines of great finesse

Volnay wine has always been described as a "feminine" wine due to the delicacy of its bouquet. The diversity of the terroir allows certain vineyards to challenge this definition and produce wines of incredible aromatic richness. Volnay wines are vinified relatively early, allowing them to be enjoyed fairly soon after bottling, but they also have significant aging potential, so you can keep this wine in your cellar for many years to let it mature. The climate and soil types allow producers to Volnay to produce a wide variety of wines.
