Domaine Yannick Amirault

Domaine Yannick Amirault is in the hands of a meticulous and perfectionist winemaker, Yannick Amirault. The Domaine Yannick Amirault vineyard covers 19 hectares located in Bourgueil and Saint-Nicolas, in the Loire Valley, and has been in biodynamic conversion since 2009. The vines at Domaine Yannick Amirault, planted exclusively with Cabernet Franc, are tended with the utmost care, using traditional methods with plowed and grass-covered soils. Each plot is vinified separately and the grapes, always perfectly ripe, express the terroirs from which they come.

In the cellar, Yannick Amirault is a proponent of long vinification. Here, there is no correction of the must, no fining or filtration before bottling. The wine is aged for a minimum of 12 months in demi-muids or foudres. This work allows Domaine Yannick Amirault to produce wines of excellent quality in the Bourgueil and Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil appellations.
