Domaine Dirler-Cadé

The Dirler-Cadé Estate is located in the small village of Bergholtz, southeast of Guebwiller. Jean Dirler, heir to a long line of winemakers dating back to 1871, and his partner Ludivine Cadé cultivate 18 hectares of vineyards there, 42% of which are classified as AOC Alsace Grand Cru Saering, Spiegel, Kessler, or Kitterlé.

Since 1998, Domaine Dirler-Cadé has been committed to biodynamic viticulture, now recognized with Biodyvin certification, to ensure greater respect for the environment and the soil, and to produce AOC Alsace wines of even higher quality. The philosophy of Domaine Dirler-Cadé follows naturally from this: "The goal of the biodynamic winemaker, through his specific cultivation of the vine, is to produce a high-quality wine with its own distinct characteristics derived from the unique elements that form the terroir of each estate. The wine will be the expression of this, as the qualities and particularities of this terroir will be respected." That says it all!
