Domaine Zind-Humbrecht

Domaine Zind-Humbrecht was founded in 1959 through the merger of the wine-growing estates of the Humbrecht family, winemakers in Gueberschwihr, and the Zind family, winemakers in Wintzenheim. Domaine Zind-Humbrecht ranks among the most renowned in Alsace and France, situated in the heart of the Herrenweg vineyard in Turckheim, with vineyards spanning the region’s finest terroirs. Heir to a family tradition dating back to 1620, Léonard Humbrecht has now passed the torch to his son Olivier, a trained agricultural engineer, who has gradually transitioned the entire vineyard to biodynamic farming, culminating in ECOCERT certification in 2000.
