« Tout y est : une couleur soutenue, dense ; un bouquet complexe et harmonieux de petits fruits rouges, légèrement toasté ; un palais ample, velouté, charnu, porté par des tanins serrés mais "civilisés". On aurait très envie d'y goûter dès aujourd'hui, mais ce grand vin mérite un peu de patience et s'appréciera pleinement dans trois ou quatre ans, voire davantage. » (Le Guide Hachette des Vins).
