Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : 3***Stars (A production of high-quality, that could be used as a reference in its area)

About this wine : Vin ample et gras.

Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)

Wine rated (guide 2016) : 15/20 (Bon vin)

Jancis Robinson

Jancis Robinson

Wine rated (guide 2014) : 15,5/20

About this wine : Dark crimson and smells meaty and rich. Big and burly on the palate. Tannins are a bit tough.

The first known vineyards in Saint-Estèphe date back to the Roman occupation, but the zone became famous for its wines when négociants from Bordeaux began maturing and selling the wines themselves. The prosperous 19th century saw the creation of the great châteaux that still stand today, and that movement now continues with the consolidation of smaller properties. A land of great ...
