Ratings : Burghound 89-91/100, RVF 15,5/20, Bettane & Desseauve 15,5/20, Guide Hachette Citation (Vin réussi)
« There is a gamey character to the ripe, fresh and notably earthy red and dark currant scented nose. I like the sense of verve and detail to the lighter weight and mineral-inflected flavors that possess good complexity on the rustic, intense and serious finale. » (Burghound 2014 - Allan Meadows)

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Wine rated (guide 2015) : 15,5/20 (Très bon vin)
Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : 2**Stars (A reliable production but a little more constant and homogeneous than the previous one)

About this wine : Extraction délicate, corps suave, délicat, finale agréable et bien définie.

About the vineyard : This respected estate of Savigny has as strengths, outstanding plots in Corton and Corton-Charlemagne appellations, but offers excellent examples of Meursaults, Volnays and Chambolle-Musignys, with a more constant success in red wine than in white wine, where some too fast aging developments can spoil our fun. The estate intelligently reacted in 2010 by refining its bottling technique but it is clear that it can and should go further in refinement of taste and texture on its great terroirs.

Wine rated (guide 2017) : Cité (Vin réussi)
Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)

Wine rated (guide 2015) : 15,5/20 (Bon vin)
Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : 1*Étoile (stars en devenir ou vignerons de qualité à la production de bon niveau, vous ne serez pas déçus en dégustant les vins de ces domaines)

About this wine : Il faut signaler la belle trame de l'aloxe-corton premier cru. Le vin séduit par son harmonie et ces beaux tanins.

About the vineyard : This estate created in 1960 by Antonin Guyon is managed today by his son Dominique, passionnated winemaker and followed by the greek oenologist, Kyriakos Kynigopoulos. Ezra, his daughter, should join him soon to participate in the day-to-day management of the estate. With 47 ha, the range is wide, with as strengths, in Côte de Nuits, a remarkable Chambolle Clos du Village and, in Côte de Beaune, four great Corton and Corton-Charlemagne.

Established in 1938, the Aloxe-Corton AOC and Aloxe-Corton Premier Cru links the Côtes de Nuits with the Côte de Beaune to which it belongs. The Corton hill signals a change in landscape. Towards Beaune, the land becomes more rounded, its sharp contours giving way to gentle valleys. The appellation covers the communes of Aloxe-Corton and Ladoix-Serrigny. It has 13 climats classified ...
