Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Wine rated (guide 2015) : 17,5/20 (Vin de référence)
Vineyard rated (guide 2016) : 4****Stars (The producers of very high-quality wines, those who are the glory of the French vineyard)

About this wine : Fin miel, très agrumes, très généreux, un rien lourd, massif, attendre mais le caractère du millésime est marqué. Grand potentiel.

About the vineyard : As William Fèvre owned the champagne Henriot family, this large house completely regained its brands and its prestige. The great lover will of course give preference wines of the area, located on major climates on both sides, with a choice of truly unique titles, in two colors. Joseph Henriot, who had acquired it in the early nineties and brilliantly revived, left us this year, leaving a masterpiece.

Vineyard rated (guide 2016) : 1*Étoile (stars en devenir ou vignerons de qualité à la production de bon niveau, vous ne serez pas déçus en dégustant les vins de ces domaines)

About the vineyard : This venerable historic house, founded in 1731 at Beaune, owned the Henriot family since 1995. It has experienced in recent years a succession of leaders at its head. And it is now Christophe Bouchard, who holds the reins with efficiency. Operator 130 ha of vineyards, the maison Bouchard covers almost all of Burgundy appellations. It is difficult with also range to be good in all crus and emphasis for many years a lack of consistency in the range entries, more white in red, while the more prestigious wines remain blameless.
