Ratings : Guide Hachette 2**(Remarkable wine), Robert Parker 95/100
« Half of the fabulous 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee les Origines was aged in new barriques, the rest in concrete vats, so there is some oak in play here, but the blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre and 20% Syrah has absorbed much of it. This full-bodied wine is tannic and rich, with fruit shading from cherries and red plums all the way through to plum and cola. Mocha and baking spices appear on the long, velvety finish. » (Wine Advocate 2017 - Robert Parker)

Le Guide Hachette des Vins

Wine rated (guide 2018) : 2**Étoiles (Vin remarquable)
Vineyard rated (guide 2020) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)

Vineyard rated (guide 2020) : 1*Star (A reliable production, recommendable, in line with expectations from the appellation(s))

Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the largest, oldest, and most famous wine zone in the Côtes du Rhône. In the 14th century the papacy moved to Avignon, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape was chosen as the papal summer residence. The popes residing here—and John XII in particular—fostered wine production in the area and developed the vineyards. Production conditions are a constant throughout the ...
