« Coming from the lieux-dits of Viallière, Champon, Lancement, Cote Bodin and Bertholon (which is slanted firmly towards the Cote Brune side of the appellation), the 2014 Cote Rotie Reserve exhibits fabulous notes of cassis, cured meats, black raspberries and spice. Medium to full-bodied, elegant and seamless, it has seriously high quality tannin, no hard edges and a great finish, all of which suggest it will drink nicely on release, yet also evolve gracefully. » (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker)

The vineyards of Côte-Rôtie are among the oldest in France. Developed considerably by the Romans, Côte-Rôtie earned AOC status in 1940. Today the appellation comprises a little over 100 producers and about 60 properties with estate bottling. Côte-Rôtie stretches along the bank of the Rhône River, across three villages: Saint-Cyr-sur-Rhône, Ampuis, and Tupin-Semons, all in the Rh ...
