« The Jaume’s 2014 Rasteau Les Valats (90% Grenache and 5% each of Syrah and Mourvedre) shows textbook notes of chocolaty dark fruits, pepper and smoked herbs to go with a medium-bodied, fresh, focused style on the palate. It has excellent purity, as well as the more mid-weight, fresh feel of the vintage. » (Wine Advocate 2016 - Robert Parker)

Wine Advocate - Robert Parker

Wine rated (guide 2016) : 88-90/100 (Vin formidable)
Vineyard rated : Recommended (Winery recommended by the Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Vineyard rated (guide 2020) : 1*Star (A reliable production, recommendable, in line with expectations from the appellation(s))

Vineyard rated (guide 2020) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)

One of the largest wine zones of the Vaucluse department in the 18th century, Rasteau was known at the time for its dessert wines. Its dry reds obtained the right to the Côtes du Rhône Villages appellation in 1966, and over time they gradually gained wider recognition, thanks in part to the establishment in 2010 of the sub-appellation Côtes du Rhône Villages Rasteau that recognizes ...
