With its ruby red colour, quite deep, this Vacqueyras shows a nose of black currant, cherry, with peppery notes. The palate shows power and richness, yet very fine, with a good intensity of the tannins. A wine of character !

The Vacqueyras appellation is in the villages of Vacqueyras and Sarrian, in the Vaucluse department, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail hills. The vineyards sit on alluvial soils and Riss (Quaternary) glacial terraces.
